Better Lait Than Never: There’s an Oilers game and Philip Broberg rumours to talk about!

It’s been a thousand years since the Oilers last played, and that meant I was very excited to talk about some actual hockey as opposed to whatever drivel is normally coursing through my brain.
Kicking off this week’s podcast, I got started with a look at the weather. Why? Because it’s December 6th in Edmonton, and there is barely any snow. I know some folks are missing the snow at this time of the year, but for me, I’m pumped about it. I will take a dry/brown Christmas for the first time in forever, and I don’t care who knows it or why you’re wrong about missing the snow. Turning the podcast back to the Oilers, I started with the Philip Broberg rumours after news broke that the player was granted permission to seek greener pastures. Does the trade request make sense? We’ll dig in. From there, I looked at all of the other stories that have happened over the last week or so not only with the Oilers but around the NHL at large. Despite the lack of games, this past week has had all kinds of news and rumors to chew on whether it made sense or not. Lastly, I wrapped up the episode with another Righteous Sack Beating and a fresh round of voicemails to get your take on everything that’s been happening since last week’s episode. Oh, and subscribe to my YouTube channel.
