Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
This night could define my betting season. We’re taking a couple of swings with two, two-unit bets as we try and get back in the green amid a big downswing.
Our first bet of the day will be taking Jesper Bratt to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -150.
Bratt has been having a career year with the Devils, pacing for career highs in goals, assists and points while averaging 3.1 shots on goal per game, a career-high. He’s cashed this prop in four of his last five games, and in 27 of 49 games this season. He and his linemates on New Jersey’s top line have an excellent matchup against the Calgary Flames tonight, and he will help lead that charge.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Nikita Kucherov to take over 3.5 shots. These odds sit at -150 and will be for two units.
We played this prop last night against when the Tampa Bay Lightning took on the New York Rangers, and Kucherov fell short of cashing by one shot. So why are we going back to Kucherov tonight? Well, he has among the highest shot volume of any player on tonight’s slate, and while the Rangers allow the fewest shots on goal per hour, the Islanders allow the second most.
Our third bet of the day will be taking Nic Roy to score 1+ point. These odds sit at +115 and will be for two units.
Nic Roy is on quite a run right now. Ten games ago, he saw his ice-time bumped as he flew up the Vegas Golden Knights’ lineup with Jack Eichel injured and since, all he’s done is produce. He’s racked up three goals and 12 points in his last 10 games, cashing this prop in seven of those games. Nine of those points have come in his last five games, where he’s cashed this prop in every game.
Tonight, he and the Golden Knights top line have an excellent matchup taking on the Arizona Coyotes, and that’s why this is a two-unit play tonight.
