Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Our first bet of the day is taking Lucas Raymond to score 1+ point, with odds sitting at -138.
It’s do-or-die time for the Detroit Red Wings, needing a win tonight over the Montreal Canadiens to stay alive in the playoff race. Raymond has taken a massive leap forward this year, scoring 31 goals and 71 points in 81 games, and is on a tear as of late scoring six goals and 10 points in his last five games. He’s racked up three multi-point games, including a hat trick and a two-goal performance, the latter of which came last night against the Habs.
Big players show up in big moments, and Raymond is showing that ability. We’re going to sprinkle a half unit each on Raymond to score a goal at +162 and 2+ points at +300.
Our fourth bet of the day is taking J.T. Miller to score 2+ points, with odds sitting at +187.
Miller is another player having an incredible year, posting career highs in goals, with 36, and points with 102. He’s helped elevate the Canucks, who have a chance to secure the Pacific Division title tonight with one point against the Calgary Flames. Miller has two points in three games against Calgary this year, not cashing this prop against them, but I could see a big game from him tonight.
Our third bet of the day is taking Jack Eichel to take over 3.5 shots on goal, with odds sitting at -150.
Eichel comes into this game against the Chicago Blackhawks cashing this prop in 39 of 61 games on the season, and in one of two games against them this season. He’s hit it in six of his last 10, and this feels like one that could cash early in the game.
