Betway Bets of the Day — Looking for the Oilers to roll the Kraken

Our first bet of the day will be taking Oilers on the -1.5 puckline. These odds sit at +105.

The Oilers have rolled the Kraken virtually since they entered the NHL, winning seven of nine games outscoring them 41-26 over that stretch. And in six of those wins, the Oilers covered the -1.5 puckline.

Edmonton’s top line of Connor McDavid, Zach Hyman and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins have all dominated the matchup, too. McDavid has 16 points in nine games, Hyman has 14 points in eight games, while Nugent-Hopkins has 11 points in eight games.

While on paper this is a tougher matchup, given the Kraken are still a good defensive team, the Oilers have just far too much firepower.

For that reason, we’re also dropping a unit each on Connor McDavid to score 2+ points at -125 and Zach Hyman to score 2+ points at +187.

Let’s see if the Oilers can keep the offence rolling tonight against a banged up Kraken squad.
