Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Our first bet of the day is taking the Edmonton Oilers on the money line, with odds at -130.
We’re keeping it simple here. The Oilers had a good Game 2, but couldn’t come out on top in the third period. Playing in front of their hometown crowd, they’ll fare much better tonight.
Our second bet of the day is on Evan Bouchard to score 2+ points, with odds at +200.
Bouchard cashed this prop in six of 12 games against Los Angeles and Vancouver, but so far against Dallas, he’s managed just one point in two games, struggling to get involved in the offence. I don’t think that will last, and I can see him having a big night tonight.
Our third bet of the day is on Connor McDavid to score 2+ points, with odds at -125.
After a one-goal, one-assist performance in Game 1, McDavid was held off the scoresheet in Game 2. Vancouver was able to do similar things to him in the second round, as in Games 3, 5 and 7, he didn’t score a single point. But in each of the following games, McDavid totalled six points.
He’s a player who you can’t deny for long, and the Oilers will be able to get him out in more favourable matchup at home than they were on the road in Dallas.
Record: 137-176 (-24.18u)
2022-23 season: 155-149 (+16.82u)
