Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Our first bet of the day is taking the Darnell Nurse to be an anytime goalscorer, with odds at +650. This bet will be for half a unit.
Nobody is taking more heat in Edmonton right now than Nurse after a tough performance in Game 3. While his name landed on Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli’s first trade targets list of the summer, Oilers captain Connor McDavid came out in support, saying “he gives us everything he’s got.”
What bigger way for Nurse to quiet the noise than by scoring a goal? His odds are the longest of any Oilers player today, so let’s sprinkle a half unit and see if he can find the back of the net.
Our second bet of the day is on Evan Bouchard to score 2+ points, with odds at +200.
We’re riding this one again tonight. Bouchard had just one point in Game 3, assisting on the Oilers opening goal of the game, but couldn’t get one more for us before the end of the night. Edmonton is due for a big offensive game and whenever that comes, Bouchard will undoubtedly be at the forefront. His 22 points in 15 playoff games are third in the league and seven more than the second-highest-scoring defenceman in Miro Heiskanen.
Our third bet of the day is on Connor McDavid to score 2+ points, with odds at -135.
We’re also going back to the well on McDavid, who has scored two points in both Games 1 and 3 of this series, while also doing so in seven of 15 games in the post-season.
Record: 138-179 (-25.88u)
2022-23 season: 155-149 (+16.82u)
