Cam Talbot named third star of the week

For the second time this season, Cam Talbot has been named the third star of the week.
Talbot received a merry gift from the NHL this week as he was named the third star of the week after posting a 2-0-1 record last week. He was a key cog in 3-2 wins over the Arizona Coyotes and St. Louis Blues, and an 3-2 OT loss to the San Jose Sharks.
His third star goes along with the first star of the week honor he got on Oct. 24 earlier this season.
After being acquired from the New York Rangers at the 2015 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for three draft picks. He immidiately stepped into the role of a starter with the Oilers and has posted a .917sv% and a 2.54 GAA in 88 GP.
This season, Talbot has been a rock for the Oilers and a huge reason why the team is siting second in the Pacific Divison during the Christmas break.
