The Edmonton Oilers have loaned forward Devin Shore to the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors on a conditioning stint, the club announced Thursday.
Shore, 28, has had some difficulty finding a regular spot in the Oilers’ lineup as of late. He’s played only one of 13 games dating back to Dec. 20th and has yet to draw into a game in 2023.
He appeared in 29 games earlier this season scoring three assists, but appears to have fallen out of favour. Shore’s loan can see him play up to five games, or 14 days — whichever is shorter — and allows for him to get some games in under his belt.
The veteran forward joined the Oilers ahead of the 2020-21 season and has played in 116 games with the team over the last three seasons scoring 10 goals and 23 points.
