Risky Business: Oilers shooting for January perfection

Life is pretty good around Oilersnation these days, and I couldn’t think of a better way to punctuate a fantastic month than for the Oilers to wrap it up with a 16th straight win. Obviously, I’ve never seen the boys go on a run like this before, and it’s been a real treat to watch after the October slog we all had to live through. Regardless of what other fanbases are saying, the fact that Edmonton hasn’t lost a game in 2024 is truly remarkable, regardless of who the opponents have been. Even though no one outside of the city wants to give this team any credit for what they’re doing, the fact remains that if winning 15 games in a row was so easy, then everyone would do it. I’ll say the same thing again today when the Oilers beat the Predators for win 16.

Edmonton Oilers win and over 5.5 total goals at +115. My $5 bet would return $10.75.

It may not have been the prettiest win you’ll ever see, but the Oilers still managed to get the job done even though they did not have their A-game on display. Either way, you have to love the way the boys took the two points anyway, and also that the road to get there saw me win on 3/4 bets I put down. Great success.
