Happy Birthday to the god father of the Nation, Ryan Smyth!

Many of you don’t know this, but without Ryan Smyth, Oilersnation may not exist. In 2007 when Smytty got traded to the New York Islanders and broke all of our hearts the website that eventually turned into Oilersnation.com was born. This legendary website was called BringRyanHome.com.
If I could, I wish I could write an article every day about how cool Ryan Smyth is but Baggedmilk won’t let me. Fortunately today is his birthday and I can write AS MANY ARTICLES ON SMYTTY AS I WANT!
Smytty turns 42 today and still has 100 more years to live! I hope all of Smytty’s wishes come true today and that it’s filled with cake and fun times.
