Inside the Nation: #KeepNugeForever, Milan Lucic rumours, and the #SummerofLineys continues

Happy Thursday, Nation! As always, Dusty Nielson is back with another edition of Inside the Nation to break down all things Edmonton Oilers and make sense of what’s happening with the franchise we’re all doomed to love.

To start off today’s episode, Dusty jumped right in with a look at the Keep Nuge Forever bombshell that dropped yesterday afternoon where a bunch of the boys posed for a photo wearing Nation Gear at RNH’s wedding. Amazing, right? From there, Dusty looked at the @Josh Archibald signing and how Ken Holland really hasn’t made any moves that have pissed the Nation off yet, which was the tradition around here during the Chiarelli era. Next up, it wouldn’t be an episode of Inside the Nation without taking a look at the ongoing @Milan Lucic rumours. Could there actually be truth to the rumours that the Calgary Flames have interest in the big man in exchange for @James Neal? Considering the holes that remain on the Oilers’ roster and the fact that Spooner signed in Switzerland, Dusty took another look at the terrible Strome for Spooner trade that was completely needless and how it continues to affect the team. Lastly, we finish up the episode with another look at the #SummerOfLineys and what impact Josh Archibald will have on the combinations.

After having such a blast over the past two years, we absolutely knew that we were going to organize another golf tourney for the summer and, after a few months of planning, we’re psyched to finally be able to launch our third annual golf tournament.
