Alright folks, it’s safe to say this season hasn’t turned out as we first expected it to back in October. Some trades were made, some injuries occurred, and some losses happened. Before you knew it, we fell to a few points from the bottom of the standings, and I think it’s time we all take a moment to relax and hang out with our fellow suffering Oiler fans to get each other through the remainder of the season.

With that said, I’m proud to announce the 2019 Fan Therapy Brunch party!

Now don’t get me wrong, we are still in the playoff race and there’s a real chance this may work out for us. BUT regardless, it’s been a very disappointing season, so we need to come together to offer support for our fellow fans.

Not only is this party a big deal to bring as much fandom and love as possible to the Oilers as they continue their difficult trek to the postseason, but it’s ALSO the introduction to our brand new bar partnership with The Canadian Brewhouse! That’s right, this Fan Therapy Brunch will be held at the Canadian Brewhouse on the south side of Edmonton (9538 Ellerslie Rd SW), We’re looking forward to hosting a whole whack of events at the Brewhouse locations in Edmonton and other cities.

The party will be taking place on Saturday, March 2nd, and puck drop for the game against the Blue Jackets is at 11 a.m. You get to wake up, shower and head straight to the Brewhouse for a mimosa or two, as well as some chicken and waffles. This party is very important for us fans to maintain our sanity, and hopefully, something good will come from it. If we can all come together wearing our rally caps, I truly think we’ll be able to make this playoff thing a reality.

Besides the change of location, this party won’t be much different from any of our previous parties. Tickets for the brunch party will only be $5,  we’ll be giving away swag bags at the door for every ticket purchase, and we’ll have a ton of great prizes to raffle out throughout the morning. I can’t tell you ALL the cool prizes we’ll be giving out, but ONE of them is a trip to the Saddledome with us for the final Battle of Alberta game of the year!
