Is the Leon Draisaitl contract done?

The Leon Draisaitl contact may or may not be done, and it may or may have been leaked by Jiri Poner, an old teammate of Leon’s father. It’s either that or I’m over-reacting and Leon just beat him at a round of golf or something anti-climactic. Let’s take a look.
Jiri Poner uploaded the image yesterday of himself, Leon, and another gentleman celebrating something special over a couple of cold ones. Now, this could be something huge and exciting for all of us (except for Jiri, who probably shouldn’t have leaked the news online if it is true) OR it’s going to turn into a complete flop, and I’ll just be another blogger who takes nothing and turns it into something because it’s the summer and there’s nothing else to talk about. If that’s the case, please go easy on me.
Besides, if you look at the comments on the picture, there is a guy asking “how much” and that leads me to believe that this guy just made some bank. How could it not?
To add fuel to the fire, an interesting development happened this morning over on HF Boards where user: SpeedyTurtle dropped a hint that something big is coming out of the Oiler offices soon. Why am I referencing some random dude from HF Boards? Well, oddly enough, this same user is the one that broke the Jussi Jokinen, Todd McLellan, AND Peter Chiarelli signings before they actually happened. Strangely, he has a pretty good track record for breaking news about a team that generally keeps their cards close to the vest, but keep in mind these are all rumblings.
So what do you think? Is this the week all the waiting comes to an end? Or is all of this just a bunch of horse shit that got blown up on the Internet again? Either way, this wait for a Draisaitl contract can’t end soon enough.
