The new play-in simulation went well for the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday afternoon. Winners in Game One by a whopping score of 8-1. The largest score we have seen in a sim yet and I was honestly in shock. Hopefully the Oil will bring that fire again and the Oilers can take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five play-in series. Stick around, right here in this article to see if they can do it with puck drop at 7pm MT.
About 15 minutes prior to game time, the stream will be live here:

How we got here:

In case you missed it, we ran a completely random sim (aside from some tweaking to the sliders to make them more realistic for a 20 minute period sim) and the @Edmonton Oilers, valiantly fought hard to make a series of it in the Western Conference Finals before falling to the @Dallas Stars in 7 games.
If you would like to check out that recap check here:

The Jerseys:

When we ran the previous playoff stream, you asked for the ability to pick the jersey matchup each night. We love doing this for you and this will continue, I will just be running the jersey polls the day before a game to get them out there longer, and to get others to tune in as well as you!

The Lineups:

Since the playoffs started, I have been trying to get you guys to answer a poll that lets some… I mean, I have been happy to do this haha. This time I think I will run a start or sit poll on social.
Look for that on game days.
Here is today’s:

The Forwards:

Ennis – McDavid – Kassian
RNH – NeonLeon – Yam
AA – Sheahan – Archibald
Neal – Haas – Nygard or Chiasson

The Defence:

The Netminder:

Life After The Playoffs:

The reality is like the first playoffs we had, this fun ride will end. If you want to check out the article I laid out for new ideas from myself and you:
As of right now, the next move will be Olympics 2018 revisited with NHL players, so stay tuned!

Now, who should start and who should sit?
