Edmonton’s recent low-scoring affairs have sparked a steady run for the UNDER on the totals at online sports betting sites, which has gone 4-1 over the past five games, including three straight road outings.
The Wild return to action as -125 home favorites after claiming their first home victory of the season on Sunday, a 4-3 win over the visiting Montreal Canadiens as -125 chalk. Offense has also been a major concern for Minnesota during a dismal start, with Wild shooters averaging just 2.25 goals per game over their first eight games.
Minnesota has scored four times in each of its past two home outings, but has struggled in recent clashes with the Oilers, falling to defeat in four of its past six, including two of three on home ice, according to the OddsShark NHL Database.
