Oilers Prospect Update: CHLers Shine, Bogdan Yakimo-ved?

5 years agoThe kids are alright down in the CHL ranks this week. Bouchard and Samorukov each racked up four assists and Maksimov had himself a hat trick to go along with an apple for the week.
Goaltending wise Starrett had a great shutout with the Condors and Wells looks solid in Wichita.
Some more headlines to have a look at:
Oiler claim Zykov and send down Russell – The Oilers took a flyer on the waiver pick up Zykov from Carolina and this move means their AHL regulars get more time back in Bako.
Bogdan Yakimov on the move? – I am honestly confused by this news. The link there is in Russian so the translation I am reading has Bogdan signing a deal with another KHL team mid-season? Anyways, Yakimov likely could use a change of scenery with only three points in his first 27 games.
