Oilers Prospect Update: Condors survive, Samorukov thrives

4 years agoThe Condors staved off elimination Saturday night with a huge 45 save 2-1 win from Stuart Skinner in his first AHL playoffs start. The Condors now down 3-2 in the series have their next game Wednesday.
Dmitri Samorukov and his Guelph Storm have continued to shock the masses after going down 2-0 in the series against the Ottawa 67s before taking the next three games and looking to clinch the OHL championship today in Guelph.
Ostap Safin and his Halifax Mooseheads were eliminated by the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Saturday night. The Mooseheads will have their chance for revenge as the hosts of the Memorial Cup this week.
