The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our lone bet of the day will be parlaying David Pastrnak to take over 4.5 shots on goal, Mikael Backlund to take over 3.5 shots on goal and Tomas Hertl to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at +518.
We’re taking a swing.
Over the last three days, we’ve hammered these kinds of shot parlays and we’re doing it again tonight with a big 12-game slate. We’re taking the overs on three shooters who are firing at will as of late — all of whom have great matchups tonight.
First is David Pastrnak, whose odds for this shot prop sit at -110. He’s taken 22 shots on goal in his last five games, the most among all Bruins players, hitting this prop twice. Boston takes on the Chicago Blackhawks, who have allowed 35.88 shots against per hour in their last five games, the third worst rate in the league.
Backlund, meanwhile, has taken 17 shots on goal in his last five, second most among the Flames, and his odds alone sit at -134. He’s hit this prop in three of those games. Calgary takes on the Arizona Coyotes, who have allowed 39.19 SA/60 in their last five games, the worst rate in the league.
The last leg is Hertl’s over, which sits at -118. He leads all Sharks in shots on goal over his last five games taking 21 and hitting the over on this prop in four games. San Jose takes on the Columbus Blue Jackets, who in their last five have allowed 36.86 SA/60, the second worst rate in the league.
