Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
A solid start to the season last night as we went 2-0, cashing both shot props. Let’s see what we can get up to tonight.
Our first bet of the day will be taking Zach Hyman to o2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -167 and we’re wagering two units on this one.
When there’s value, there’s value, and sometimes that value comes in the form of some juiced odds. For Hyman, however, this shot prop is at a great number. In the pre-season he cashed this in three of six games, and looking back to last season, Hyman averaged a career-high 3.49 shots on goal per game cashing it in 48 of 79 games (60.8 percent rate).
Since joining the Oilers, Hyman has appeared in six games against the Canucks cashing this prop in four of those games. Look for him to hit it again tonight.

THE BETS OF THE DAY ARE PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Our second bet of the day will be taking Nik Ehlers to o2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -150.
A shot prop of 2.5 for someone who averaged 2.93 in a down year last year? Count me in. Ehlers cashed this prop in 25 of 45 games last year for a 55.5 percent hit rate, and has cashed it in 56.5 percent of games against the Flames in his career.
He’s a player who’s going to be looking to bounce back after a tough 2022-23 campaign, and I’m willing to bet he comes out looking to make some noise tonight.
