Oilersnation Betway Bets of the Day — Take this shot prop and this goal prop

Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.

Our lone bet of the day will be taking Cole Caufield to take over 3.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -138.

Caufield has been a shot volume machine this year firing 61 shots on goal in 16 games. He leads the Habs in that category and has hit this prop in three of his last five games played.

Averaging 3.8 shots per game, Caufield has a great matchup tonight against a Columbus Blue Jackets team that allows 35.91 shots per game and has been decimated by injuries.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Mark Stone to score a goal. These odds sit at +187.

Mark Stone has been cold to start this year scoring just four goals and 12 points in 17 games. His goal-scoring has dipped from where it’s been in the past, especially over these last two years. He’s also shooting just 9.8 percent on the year, down from his average of 13.9 he’s had with the Golden Knights. Stone, however, has a great chance to get one tonight.

He and his linemates Jack Eichel and Chandler Stephenson have formed one of the best trios in the league tonight and take on an Arizona Coyotes team who have allowed 3.6 goals per hour this season. While the Coyotes have tightened things up defensively in the last few games, I don’t expect that to last.
