Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our lone bet of the day will be taking Martin Necas to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -134.
Necas has been strong to this prop in the playoffs this spring hitting the over in five of seven games. He cashed it in the Hurricanes’ first four games of the playoffs, then again in game one against the New Jersey Devils.
Tonight, I like the odds of him doing it again. While he had three shots on goal in game one, he also had two that were blocked and another three that missed the net. If he can continue to shoot with volume, I like his chances of cashing this bet for us here tonight in what should be an in interesting game two to watch.
