The Edmonton Oilers needed the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Vancouver Canucks last night; however, that unfortunately was not the case. The Canucks rallied from two goals down to beat the Golden Knights to win 4-3. With that win, Vancouver increased their cushion to five points over the Oilers for first in the Pacific Division.
Nevertheless, the race for the Pacific is still up for grabs. All Edmonton needs to do is keep winning and that starts tomorrow when they welcome the Golden Knights to Rogers Place. Edmonton and Vegas last met at Rogers Place in November when the Oilers won 5-4 in a shootout.
Ahead of that game, the Oilers have recalled Dylan Holloway from the Bakersfield Condors. Since being set down at the trade deadline, Holloway scored ten goals and 16 points in 18 games whilst down in the American Hockey League. Now he’s back with the Oilers, where does he slot into the lineup?
