After coming out of the NHL’s All-Star break with a win over the Detroit Red Wings, the Edmonton Oilers have struggled in their last four games with their sole win coming against the Ottawa Senators, a team that was coming off their bye week. While the Oilers controlled most of the game on Wednesday, old habits felt like they might be sneaking back into the Oilers’ game.
Tonight, it is the New York Rangers that are in town to face the Oilers. When the two teams met earlier this season, the Rangers controlled the game and held a 3-0 lead heading into the third period. However, the Oilers battled back to win the game 4-3 with goals from Evan Bouchard (two), Dylan Holloway, and Leon Draisaitl.
Can the Oilers find a way to grab two points again tonight? Tyler Yaremchuk will talk about what the Oilers need to do to achieve that. He will also be joined by Jay Downton for the Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre-Game Show and Baggedmilk for the Bro Down.
