The Edmonton Oilers’ start to the regular season has been unexpected. After two games, the Oilers are one of a handful of teams not to win a game yet.

Last Wednesday was a disaster falling 8-1 to the Vancouver Canucks. Then, on Saturday night, Edmonton had an opportunity to redeem themselves against those same Canucks. It was a great start, with Leon Draisaitl scoring within a minute of the puck dropping. Unfortunately, the rest of the night did not go the Oilers’ way.

A couple of costly errors cost the team two points as they eventually lost 4-3. With that, what have been the most significant issues over the first two games?
