Oilersnation Everyday: Taking on Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals

It is a Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre-Game Show edition of Oilersnation Everyday. Tyler Yaremchuk, along with Jay Downton, is back for another episode of the show to get you prepared for tonight’s game versus the Washington Capitals.
Before they get into the action on the ice tonight, they will recap what went down at Rogers Place on Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens. It was a different kind of game but the Oilers still came out on top with a 5-3 win, giving themselves a record of 4-1-0 in their last five games.
Of course, we will be talking about Connor McDavid or as some people like to call him now “McPowerplay.” There has been lots of chatter on the Twitterverse recently about how McDavid only scores points on the powerplay. While that may be the case, to an extent, Tyler wants to ask the question, what other player in the NHL can dominate the game like the Edmonton Oilers captain?
