The Edmonton Oilers have taken their first series lead after defeating the Los Angeles Kings 6-3 at Rogers Place. The Oilers got a contribution from almost everybody, with 13 players getting on the stat sheet. Surprisingly, Nick Bjugstad led the way by a couple of goals at crucial times for his team. Mattias Ekholm, Connor McDavid and Darnell Nurse also had a pair of points each too.
Tyler Yaremchuk will be around to recap everything that went down in game five at Rogers Place. Liam Horrobin and former NHLer Shawn Belle will also join him. If you have something, you would like to contribute to the conversation, join the guys on the Oilersnation YouTube channel and leave your comments in the live chat.
Finally, after they finish the recap of last night’s game, they will take a look at everything that is happening in the NHL’s playoffs. Can the Toronto Maple Leafs get it done tonight? Who will take the lead in the Seattle and Colorado series? They will take about it today.
