The Edmonton Oilers went into Winnipeg last night, after a long bus ride from Ottawa, seeking out a much needed with. After an awful weekend in Ontario, the Oilers came out flat giving the Jets chance after chance. However, Stuart Skinner held down the crease giving the Oilers a chance in the final 20. Winnipeg did strike first from Mason Appleton but Edmonton responded well with three unanswered goals. Unfortunately, a bleak one minute stretch in the third got Winnipeg right back into the game, which went to overtime. Thankfully for Edmonton their 50 goal man, and also a member of the richest family in the world, Zach Hyman came through to give the Oilers two points.
No Tyler Yaremchuk on the show today so instead Liam Horrobin hosts the show and will be joined by Aaron Bordato. The two of them go live on the Oilersnation YouTube channel for Oilersnation Everyday at noon. They’ll run through last nights victory over the Winnipeg Jets along with playing Liam’s game later in the show, which gives you the chances to win $25 to Nation Gear. Want your opinions on the show? Leave your questions, comments and concerns in the Charm Diamond Centres YouTube live chat throughout the show.
Early in the program, Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff joins the show. With Frank, Liam and Aaron will ask him about Evander Kane’s maintenance day, Zach Hyman scoring 50 goals and also the future of Warren Foegele and Vincent Desharnais.
