Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Edmonton Oilers @ Arizona Coyotes

After dropping the ball against the LA Kings, the @Edmonton Oilers showed up and redeemed themselves last night in Las Vegas. They got a little bit of production from their bottom-six, a bounceback performance from @Mike Smith, and five points from McDavid and Draisaitl. It was really a complete performance. Tonight, they’ll look to keep rolling as they head to @Arizona Coyotes.

The Coyotes are coming off a win in LA last night and have won three of their last four games. They currently sit just three points back of the Oilers for the top spot in the Pacific Division (they also have a game in hand). This is a big four-point swing. The Oilers are coming off a good win against the Golden Knights but they will be in tough tonight. Arizona is starting @Darcy Kuemper, who ranks first in GAA (1.93) and 2nd in save percentage (0.935). He’s been the best goalie in the NHL through the first quarter of the season. One positive for the Oilers is that the Coyotes do give up a lot of shots. They were outshot 45-19 last night and rank 22nd in shots against/60 at 5v5.
