Tonight is a battle of the top team in the Pacific Division and the hottest team in the division.

Last time the Oilers were at the Shark Tank, they played one of their worst first periods of the season and they never fully recovered from it. How they play in the first 20 minutes tonight will say a lot about this team. It will also go a long way in setting the tone for their five-game road trip, which features four games against divisional opponents. They’re currently sitting in the top spot in the division but that can wither away quickly if they don’t find a way to win a few games on this trip.
