Oilersnation Radio Episode 5 – Would you rather…

Friends, hello. Welcome back to Oilersnation Radio! We’ve somehow recorded five episodes of this thing and the content train is ROLLING. This week, with the season right around the corner we talk a lot about the Oilers and the battles for their final roster spot before getting into trips to the emergency room and some abstract hypothetical situations.

With the conveniently-timed news of Al Montoya being placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment Friday morning, we kicked off this week’s episode talking about Edmonton’s goalie situation. After that, we jumped into the roster battles for the rest of the team. Will Alex Chiasson and Jason Garrison get contracts? Who ends up on the outside looking in? Could it be Drake Caggiula or Pontus Aberg? How many games will Evan Bouchard get?

Them, after we’ve exhausted all the Oilers talk, things start to get weird. I asked Chris a hypothetical question last week and his answer was shocking, especially for Dan. We then dive into Evan the Intern’s horrifying late-night phone call in which he explained incoherently how he was in the emergency room for strep throat (???) which prompted me to go into detail about a time I went a week without going to the bathroom.
