Oilersnation Radio Episode 55 – Connor McDavid, Tomas Jurco, and a Pacific Division preview

Can you believe it’s already been another week since we graced your eardrums with a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio? You can’t, can you? No, I didn’t think so. Fortunately, the wait is over and we’ve got a fresh podcast that’s ready to fill you with knowledge just in time for the weekend.

To start off this week’s podcast, we looked got caught up on all the pre-season shenanigans as the @Edmonton Oilers work their way towards the big dance starting on October 2nd. Two of the biggest surprises so far have to be @Tomas Jurco and @Ethan Bear and how they both seem to have steadily solidified their place on the roster. We discussed where these two fit and whether or not they have anyone peeking over their shoulder that could steal their jobs going forward. We also touched on the gif of @Mark Letestu that went viral last night after the veteran centreman was caught on TV taking a quick shot of mustard. Next up, we had The Nation Network’s Cat Silverman on the podcast with a Mary Brown’s pop-in to discuss what we should expect from the Arizona Coyotes as well as the Oilers’ goaltending duo of @Mike Smith and @Mikko Koskinen. Lastly, we ended off this episode with Ken Boehlke from SinBin.vegas to give us a rundown on all things Golden Knights. All-in-all it was another jammed podcast and one that you’ll definitely want to check out.
