Real Life Podcast Episode 214 – Andreas Athanasiou, Jesse Puljujarvi, and NFL Bets

We’ve landed on another Thursday which means another episode of the Real Life Podcast is here to wrap up the week and get you set for the weekend.

To kick off today’s podcast, the guys jumped in with a look at the Edmonton Oilers, including many of the rumours that are circling the team as we head into the offseason. Looking at Andreas Athanasiou, the guys discussed the options when it comes to the pending RFA and took a few guesses at what his future might look like. Is it a lock that the team moves on? Is there any chance that they qualify him at $3 million just to keep him around and not lose another trade? Sticking with the RFAs, the boys broke down the Jesse Puljujarvi situation and wondered whether or not he’s actually going to come back to Edmonton and if he can bring any of his Finnish offensive prowess along with him. Perhaps Holland would look at trading him to acquire more draft picks or as part of a larger package? Changing gears, the boys looked at the past week in the Big Brother house and took some guesses on who will be leaving at tonight’s eviction. Tyler? Ian? Either way, the spiciness in the house is starting to ramp up. Lastly, the guys wrapped up the Thursday podcast with a golf story from Tyler after he ended up playing at the same times as the Dallas Stars as well as some bets on the upcoming weekend for the NFL.
