Another Monday is upon us which means it’s time for a fresh episode of the Real Life Podcast to get your week started while also helping you navigate the world around you.
To kick off today’s podcast, the boys got started with a look at where the hell Chalmers is again for today’s podcast? Since the pandemic started, Chalmers hasn’t been around much lately and the boys wondered where he’s been despite often saying in the group text that he was going to participate. Inspired by their missing co-host, Tyler told a story about how he got a dent on his car door and the detective work he had to pull out in order to close in on his suspect. Somehow, Detective Tyler inspired the boys to talk about their favourite police-themed TV shows from their youth, and how they suspected that they would be solving crimes as adults. Trying to get the podcast back on the rails, Tyler steered the conversation back to sports, which gave Baggedmilk an excuse to brag about his NFL betting prowess and how he leads the podcast team in their NFL pick’em standings. Turning their attention to the Big Brother house, the guys aired their complaints about the All-Star season that has turned out to be one of the most boring seasons in recent memory. Lastly, the discussion turned to back to hockey and the financial health of the National Hockey League and whether or not they’ll be able to operate in the short term without having fans in the building.
