Real Life Podcast Episode 313 – Glow Golf, the Danbury Trashers, and Sports Betting

The weekend may be over but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop as the boys are back with a fresh episode of the Real Life Podcast to help you get through what’s left of your Monday. In today’s episode, the guys covered glow golf, the Dansbury Trashers, the NFL, and a whole lot more.

To kick off the Monday podcast, the guys got started with a story about Jay’s glow golf experience from this past weekend after a Real Life listener slid into his DMs to see if he’d be interested in entering a team. As you can imagine, golfing in the dark is a completely different animal from a normal round of golf and it was interesting to hear the guys give their takes on what it must be like to play in that environment. From there, the conversation changed gears and dove into the Netflix documentary Untold: Crime and Penalties that covered the Dansbury Trashers, and the boys couldn’t contain their excitement about was undoubtedly an insane story. From the way the team was purchased to its unbelievable demise, the story of the Danbury Trashers is something every hockey fan should watch because it is a 90 journey that is endlessly entertaining. Finally, the guys wrapped up the Monday edition of the podcast with some sports betting talk after the NFL season kicked off, giving everyone a chance to recap their wins and confess to their losses.
