Real Life Podcast Episode 63 – Uffe Bodin, former Oilers in Sweden, and Elite Prospects

In this week’s episode of the Real Life Podcast, the boys welcome a very special guest, Uffe Bodin, to the show. Uffe is one of the masterminds at EliteProspects.com and is in town to cover the Oilers and he was gracious enough to stop by and chat with the boys.

This week’s episode starts off with a conversation about how Uffe met up with Wanye and the Squire, and what the hell the Nation Network is doing with EliteProspects.com. From there, they talk about the business side of EP, it’s origins, and what Uffe is doing in Edmonton. Moving forward, Uffe gets the boys caught up to speed on some former Oilers that are playing in Europe and try to figure out where things went wrong with Linus Omark and what to expect from Pontus Aberg. Finally, we head back in time and decide whether or not it was a big deal to throw a silver medal in the crowd? We get the Swedish perspective on the controversy from this past year’s World Juniors Hockey Championship.
