Real Life Podcast: Father’s Day recaps, Chalm out on Stanley Cup celebrations, and Jay’s home run quest

The draft is a couple of weeks away, the Oilers rumours are flying, and that means there was plenty to talk about on the newest episode of the Real Life Podcast, but whether or not the guys actually get to any of that news is a different question entirely.

Kicking off the Monday episode of Real Life, the boys started taking bets on when Chalmers would show up given that he was the first one in the group chat this morning to discuss the show. Baggedmilk set the over/under at 4.5 minutes for how late Chalmers would be, and before the bids were even set, he strolled through the door to lock in the under. Getting back to business, the dads on the show recapped their Father’s Day which saw everything from live music to weddings to playing dice despite the numbers on the die not having anything to do with the rules. From there, Chalmers went on a rant about the Stanley Cup parade from Vegas and how he thinks some of the boys were trying too hard. Somehow, arguing about pro athletes partying too hard led to Chalmers talking about how the people of Los Angeles are subsidizing the Los Angeles Country Club to the tune of $89 million. Lastly, the guys wrapped up the Monday episode of Real Life by revisiting Jay’s home run quest after a Real Life listener dropped a bat off at Nation HQ in an attempt to help.
