We’ve landed on another Thursday and that means the boys from the Real Life Podcast are back with a whole lot to talk about as the Oilers enter one of their toughest stretches of hockey of the season. On today’s show, the guys looked at Evander Kane’s wrist injury, who can fill the void, and a whole more.
Kicking off today’s podcast, the guys got started with a conversation about Twitter after Elon Musk has been causing all kinds of waves on the platform now that he’s starting to make changes. That prompted Baggedmilk to talk about what it’s like to be a Twitter Blue subscriber and whether or not he thinks it is worth the $9/month. Changing gears, the guys spent a little bit of time talking about the Brunch for Ben viewing party that will be happening on November 26th, and how excited everyone is about throwing another daytime event. Getting back to the Oilers, Jay and Baggedmilk wanted to know if a Kucherov situation could be on the table given that Evander Kane will be on the LTIR for months, but Tyler doesn’t seem to think this is even remotely possible. That argument somehow led to Jay announcing the next Nation Vacation to Toronto that will be taking place in March, and how this trip will be unlike anything we’ve ever done before. From there, things really fell off the rails as the boys started with some podcast reviews before being instantly distracted and moving on to literally anything else.
