Happy Positive Friday. We hope you are doing well and it was great to see some positive announcements yesterday from Premier Jason Kenney about slowly re-opening up things in Edmonton and surrounding area. We know we have to remain diligent with our social distancing and washing our hands, but it was nice to see some positive news.
Despite that, the ugly reality is many Edmontonians are still struggling and the Edmonton Food Bank needs our help more than ever.
So the Nation has teamed up with some partners for a fundraiser.
We are all feeling some added stress, so we have come up with the Covid “Stress Tab.” We have all endured different types of stressors recently like:
  • Social media overload
  • Working from home
  • Self-isolation boredom
  • Hand washing fatigue
  • Toilet Paper Shortage
  • Anxiety and tension
  • School closures
And because many of these will continue for the next few weeks we decided to have some fun and help the Food Bank.
Kathleen, a nurse and owner of Accelerated Cast Clinic & Limb Preservation Centre came up with the idea and many stepped up to help. Thanks to Parallel 70 Inc, Fine Line Industries, Belmont Sobey’s and big shout out to Jason at Lakeland Ridge Sobey’s for a major donation.
And then Oodle Noodle went over the top and donated an order of Spring Rolls with every jar purchased. Awesome stuff.
You can purchase your jar online HERE…
And you can pick it up at any of the following Oodle Noodle locations starting May 8th:
Clareview – 4272 137 Avenue
Downtown 108 Street 10842 Jasper Avenue
Northwest Landing – 733 Mistatim Way NW
Tamarack – 2515 17 Street NorthWest
Or you can pick it up at Accelerated Orthopedic Services at #201 6040 Andrews Way SW
Thanks in advance. There are a limited number of jars, so if you want one, order it right away.
I bought a jar last week. My only complaint was the label wasn’t childproof and I ate the entire jar in five minutes.
