When these two teams met up on Saturday at Rogers Place, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from either the Oilers or the Blues. Now that we’ve got a matchup under our belts and experience to draw from, I’ll be changing my approach for today’s bets and rolling with a more conservative slate of bet. Will it pay off? Only time will tell, but right now, at 10:30 AM MT, I’m feeling pretty good.

If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Blues:

Tyson Barrie to register a point at +110. My $5 bet would return $10.50.

Over 1.5 total power play goals at +110. My $5 bet would return $10.50

Edmonton Oilers to win and Leon Draisaitl to score 2+ points at +200. My $5 bet would return $15.

Tampa Bay over Anaheim on the Moneyline and Leon Draisaitl anytime point at 1.95. My $5 bet would return $9.75.

I would have had a perfect night on Monday had the Dallas Stars been able to handle their business. But at the same time, maybe that’s what I get for betting on the Stars. *spits*
