There’s something special about a McDavid vs. Crosby matchup, ya know? Not only do both guys seem to step their games up when going head-to-head, but I also find that the rest of the team seems to raise their bar as well. Put another way, I’m almost expecting a total reversal from Saturday’s snoozefest where both sides are gunning for offence rather than bogging things down defensively. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m thinking there are going to be plenty of goals in tonight’s game and that has me excited about another generational showdown against Crosby and crew.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Penguins:
Leon Draisaitl over 3.5 shots at +120. My $5 bet would return $11.
Over 1.5 total power play goals at -138. My $5 bet would return $8.63
Oilers to win (money line) and Leon Draisaitl to score 2+ points at +200. My $5 bet would return $15.
Can’t Miss Parlay:
Dallas over Ottawa on the money line and Carolina over Vancouver on the money line at 3.05. My $5 bet would return $15.26.
What a disaster that last game was. I mean, how am I supposed to win any money when the Oilers don’t even score a single goal? Way she goes, I suppose.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins over 2.5 shots at + 115. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl each get a power play point at +125. Evander and Leon Draisaitl each get a goal. Ottawa over Arizona on ML, Pittsburgh over Columbus on the ML, and Connor McDavid any time point at 2.26.
And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Penguins.
