It may not have been the prettiest win we’ll ever see but Gord damn will we take it anyway. Led by clutch goals from Nugent-Hopkins, the Oilers managed to grind out a win that looked to be in jeopardy after the Flames came roaring back and I’m hopeful the boys look at that effort and see what could potentially happen if they take their foot off the gas.
