As Cooomzy reminded us in the game notes this morning, this is the first Game 7 situation the Oilers have had since 2017, and I don’t think I need to remind anyone how that went. The good news is that this time we’re back at Rogers Place with the hometown crowd on our side and a team that looks about as motivated as they can possibly get. That’s why I’m throwing bets down to try and manifest a win — we all need to do our part. We be bettin’!
LAST GAME
With their backs up against the wall, the Oilers put down the exact kind of effort they needed in Game 6 and I’m hopeful they’ll be able to duplicate the hustle and results tonight in Game 7. Not to mention, I won a few pennies here and there and that’s always a nice bonus when coupled with a win.
