Risky Business: Duck Hunting Part 4

Listen, I was at the Oilers/Ducks game on Saturday at Rogers Place when the boys clinched a playoff berth and it was awesome. Not only did the Oilers win that game with style, but Leon Draisaitl also picked up a hat trick to lock in the third 50-goal campaign of his career. Good times were had by all, and I would love nothing more than another dose of the fun, ya know? That’s why I’ll be betting on the Oilers to come up with another big win despite the fact that they had a tough one last night in Los Angeles. From my side of the TV screen, I see an Oilers team that’s playing its best hockey right now and I’ll be damned if the lowly Ducks are the ones that will stand in our way.

If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Ducks.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to get over 1.5 total points at +105. My $5 bet would return $10.25.

Edmonton to win and over 5.5 total goals at -138. My $5 bet would return $8.63.

Edmonton to win, Over 6.5 total goals, and Leon Draisaitl to register 2+ points at +175. My $5 bet would return $13.75.

Edmonton Oilers to win on the money line and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to register 2+ points at +137.  My $5 bet would return $11.87.

Another game against the Kings, another huge win for the Edmonton Oilers. Not only did our boys get the job done behind enemy lines, but that win bumped them up into 2nd place in the Pacific Division with 1st place very much up for grabs. Can they keep the ball rolling tonight against the Ducks? I certainly hope so.
