Jack Campbell made 36 stops and Leon Draisaitl scored a hat trick as the Oilers cruised to an easy 6-0 win over the Anaheim Ducks in Edmonton.
With the win, the Oilers clinched a playoff spot for the fourth season in a row.

Leon Draisaitl will likely become a 50-goal scorer, and literally as I write this, he just scored his third goal of the game. There are only two active players that have scored 50+ goals in a season more than three times. Draisaitl is obviously one, with the other being Alexander Ovechkin. Moreover, one of his goals was on the powerplay, giving him 30 powerplay goals for the season. The record is 34. Can he get there?

Connor McDavid scored his 62nd goal of the season, along with his 84th assist. He leads both categories, and he is absolutely incredible. We’re incredibly lucky he’s an Edmonton Oiler, hopefully for life.
Jack Campbell had a great game, even if it was under the radar. He faced 36 shots, saving all of them. The Oilers didn’t play well in the first period, as they allowed 17 shots, but Campbell saved their bacon. Before Thursday’s game, the last Oilers shutout was in game 7 of the opening round against the Los Angeles Kings. They now have two in a row.

The Los Angeles Kings are chasing the Edmonton Oilers, but they kept pace with the Oil, beating the Seattle Kraken 3-1. The Kings currently have 98 points with a game on hand in the Oilers, but the two teams play a huge game on Tuesday night.
