Risky Business is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
As if last week’s matchup with the Kings wasn’t big enough then what can you say about tonight’s rematch? Could be even bigger, right? With the Pacific Division title very much up for grabs, having these two teams go at it again in a huge divisional game could prove costly for whoever loses. That said, I like our chances of pulling out the win not only because the Oilers are playing some pretty damned good hockey right now, but also because the Kings could still be missing some key pieces in their lineup. So what does it all mean? I’m not exactly sure, but I think it means we have to do what we can to manifest this win.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Kings.

Player Prop:

Connor McDavid over 3.5 shots at -125. My $5 bet would return $9.00.

Easy Money:

Edmonton the first team to three goals at +105. My $5 bet would return $10.25.

Risky Business:

Leon Draisaitl to score 1+ goal and register 1+ assist at +200. My $5 bet would return $15.00.

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Connor and Leon both to score at +200. My $5 bet would return $17.50.

RISKY BUSINESS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Last Game

I was at the game on Saturday night and let me tell you, that was a fantastic evening. Not only did the Oilers run the show and give themselves back-to-back shutouts, but they also clinched a playoff berth in style. Frankly, I don’t even care that most of my bets didn’t hit because I was just pumped to be in the building and hatless.
  • Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman both to register 4+ shots at +200.
  • Over 1.5 total power play goals at -110.
  • Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to register 1+ goal and 1+ assists at +220.
  • Edmonton over Anaheim on the money line, New Jersey over Chicago on the money line, and Carolina over Montreal on the money line at 2.22. ✅
And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Kings.
