Risky Business is brought to you by NHL Lines site Betway!
Despite the huge win on Friday night against these very same Minnesota Wild, I’ve still got my guard up about what to expect from our beloved Edmonton Oilers. On Friday, the boys got a complete effort from the crease outward and they needed every ounce of that effort to pull out the win, but the question I have is whether or not they can do it twice in a row. Can the Edmonton Oilers beat a Wild team that has won seven of the last eight meetings for a second straight time? Can we get both the home and the away results? Dare to dream amirite? Either way, I remain cautious about the Minnesota Wild and my bets for the night are following suit.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Wild:

Player Prop:

Zach Hyman over 3.5 shots at +115. My $5 bet would return $10.75.

Easy Money:

Over 1.5 total power play goals at -125. My $5 bet would return $9.00.

Risky Business:

Leon Draisaitl and Kirill Kaprisov both to score at +300. My $5 bet would return $20.00.

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Connor McDavid to register 2 points and Ottawa over Anaheim on the moneyline at 2.50. My $5 bet would return $12.53.

Pretty happy with the way things went on Friday given that the Oilers actually won and I came out evenly on my bets. That said, I could have done better but that’s what I get for betting on the Flames.
  • Zach Hyman over 3.5 shots at +115. ✅
  • Over 1.5 total power play goals at -105. ✅
  • Connor McDavid and Kirill Kaprisov both to score at +275.
  • Calgary over Columbus, New Jersey over NYI on the ML, and Vegas over Philly on the ML at 2.89.
And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Wild.
