Risky Business: Turning the Ship Around

Risky Business is brought to you by NHL Odds site Betway!
I can’t be the only one that feels nervous about how this game is going to go, right? The Oilers couldn’t even manage a single point against a Washington Capitals team that is missing half their roster, so I don’t think it’s unfair for me to feel nervous about the way things are going to go against the Tampa Bay Lightning on the second half of a back-to-back set. By no means am I saying that this is a scheduled loss for our side, but they’ll need to be a hell of a lot better against Tampa if the Oilers have any hopes of wrapping up this losing streak.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Lightning:

Player Prop:

Leon Draisaitl over 3.5 shots at +120. My $5 bet would return $11.00.

Easy Money:

Over 6.5 total goals at -125. My $5 bet would return $9.00.

Risky Business:

Zach Hyman to score at +175. My $5 bet would return $20.00.

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Buffalo over Arizona on the ML, NYR over NYI on the ML at 2.17. My $5 bet would return $10.85.

RISKY BUSINESS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Last Game

Despite the horrible results on the ice, I actually came away ahead after my Risky Business bet and Draisaitl player prop hit for me. I did, however, try and live bet the comeback, which was a horrible idea on my part. Lesson learned.
  • Leon Draisaitl to register over 3.5 shots on goal at +120. ✅
  • First period over 1.5 total goals.
  • Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl both to score at +300. ✅
  • Edmonton Oilers to win and Alex Ovechkin to get 1+ point at +125.
And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Lightning.
