Risky Business: #NationVacation Manifestation

Is there anything better than a Saturday night matchup on Hockey Night in Canada? No. Not even close. And that goes even more so when you’re going up against the Leafs in the early slot. Not to mention, we’re on a #NationVacation to Toronto this weekend so we’ll be in the building and doing what we can to manifest a win. And when these two teams met up 10 days ago, the Oilers came up with one of their best efforts of the season and walked all over the Leafs in a very one-sided evening. For tonight’s rematch, the boys will need to come up with another effort just like the one we got at Rogers Place to ensure that the heavy betting I’m putting down tonight pays off.

If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Leafs.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins over 2.5 shots at +155. My $5 bet would return $12.75.

Over 1.5 total power play goals at -125. My $5 bet would return $9.00.

Connor McDavid over 1.5 goals at +385. My $5 bet would return $24.25.

New Jersey over Montreal on the money line, Colorado over Arizona on the money line, and Pittsburgh over Philly on the money line at +134. My $5 bet would return $15.26.

Welp… We may have lost the battle but we ultimately won the war. I mean, I can’t even be mad about only winning one of my four bets when the Oilers came out with a win against the league’s best team.
