Risky Business: Evening the Playing Field

The thing I noticed most in Game 1 was that Vegas isn’t going to give the Oilers anywhere near the time and space to get set up that the Kings did in the first round. Todd McLellan had those boys sitting back like they had nothing else to do, but to put it lightly, the Golden Knights are a whole lot more aggressive in their approach. Quicker decisions and patience have to be the approach for Edmonton as they look to rebound from what was an ugly game on Wednesday night. As for me, I’ll be doing my part to manifest a win with some tactical Oilers bets while screaming my face off at T-Mobile Arena.

Oilers to win and over 5.5 total goals at +150. My $5 bet would return $12.50.

I was so unhappy on Wednesday night that it’s honestly hard to describe. It wasn’t so much that the Oilers lost but rather how they lost that bothered me, and I’m demanding a much better effort tonight in Game 2. To make matters worse, I got killed.
