Risky Business is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
I don’t care how you slice it, this is a huge game for the Edmonton Oilers. Not only are the Stars a rock-solid opponent, but they could end up being our first round playoff opponent if the boys get stuck in a Wildcard spot. Needless to say, this is a huge game with two very important points on the line. So far this season, the Oilers and Stars have split the two games at one apiece with the road club winning both nights. Seeing as round three goes down at Rogers Place, we’ve gotta hope our heroes can buck the away team winner trend and pick up a win. From my side of the equation, I’ll be doing what I can to manifest this win with some carefully thought-out bets that will help the Universe guide us to victory. At least, that’s what I’m telling myself anyway.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Stars.

Player Prop:

Leon Draisaitl over 1.5 total points at +125. My $5 bet would return $11.25.

Easy Money:

Connor McDavid over 3.5 shots at -150. My $5 bet would return $8.33.

Risky Business:

Connor McDavid and Jason Robertson both to score at +300. My $5 bet would return $20.00.

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Florida over Montreal on the money line and Colorado over Ottawa on the money line at 2.34. My $5 bet would return $11.70.

And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Stars.
